Welding & Gases Today 2026 Q3

The Task: 

Produce the Q3 2026 edition of Welding & Gases Today, a trade publication serving the welding and industrial gases industry, while maintaining the publication’s established visual identity and editorial standards.

My Role: 

Collaborated with the Design Director and Editor at Data Key Communications to develop the Q3 2026 issue. Responsibilities included updating and refining editorial copy, revising page layouts, designing supporting graphics, and ensuring visual consistency and cohesion throughout the publication.

The Process: 

Worked closely with the Design Director and Editor throughout the production process to translate editorial content into a polished, engaging magazine experience. I refined layouts to improve hierarchy, readability, and visual flow; updated and formatted editorial copy; and designed graphic elements to support articles and strengthen visual storytelling. I incorporated editorial feedback and collaborated across disciplines to ensure the content, design, and production requirements worked together seamlessly.
